The smart platform for monitoring and ensuring individual health with patient participation based on the ontology approach (SPMiHO) is the platform that provides e-health services with preventing risks and confounders based on the individual ontology and smart patterns for timely health correction. This is very important for effective prevention of severe chronic diseases and their consequences, especially in the elderly people. The virtual SPMiHO platform is located on a cloud and includes IoT system that uses 1) various sensors for monitoring the basic parameters to characterize the main indicators of human health, 2) data collection and transmission channels that process based on a variety of information transfer technologies, 3) personal data protection tools, 4) intelligent data collection and processing services, 5) analytical analysis tools, decisions making (making a diagnosis) tools, 6) collecting and processing data on the results of treatment, 7) the messenger for timely informing of the responsible persons.

FrAAgiLe is a platform intends to analyze the status of the elderly person, both physically and mentally, in terms of fragility, and then assign individualized physical and mental exercises to avoid the risk of possible falls, using an accessible and affordable solution that combines videos for exercises and serious games to both train and detect physical or cognitive fragility. Deep Learning techniques will be applied in order to help the frAAgiLe system learn about the fragility history of each individual end-user and customize the training plan according to his/her evolution. The system will also focus on being as cheap and less intrusive as possible, using only tablets and wearables. frAAgiLe project will be developed through a user-centered approach, with an active involvement of end-users in different phases of the project, along its entire duration; end-users coming from 3 different European countries, and thus bringing a heterogeneous background from cultural and economic perspectives, will contribute to the co-creation of the platform.

The Wheels for Life (WFL) initiative targets pregnant mothers to expand access to transportation in an effort to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. Through a centralized system, trained physicians receive and triage calls. Based on clinical assessment a taxi or ambulance is sent. Ambulances are dispatched using the Flare technology which maps ambulance partners and hospitals throughout the country, allowing the dispatch team to send the closest ambulance, matching patient care needs to the closest appropriate hospital.
