The SMARTBEAR project aims to contribute in the search for solutions that can support the active aging of the population, preventing and monitoring health issues related to aging in Regiao Autonoma da Madeira (RAM), Portugal.
Overview:
SMARTBEAR is a research and innovation project that aims to provide an intelligent and personalized digital solution to sustain and support an independent and healthy lifestyle in the elderly community.
Objectives:
The main goal of the project is to implement an innovative platform using smart medical devices, through evidence-based interactions enabled by the use of sensory and environmental medical devices, associated with clinically significant risk factors in older people with various comorbidities.
