SmartWork is supporting active and healthy ageing at work for older office workers, through a suite of smart services, building a Worker-Centric AI System for work ability sustainability.
Overview:
H2020 project. Targets as user groups OLDER OFFICE WORKERS, therir EMPLOYERS and CARERS. proposes services for ubiquitous computer work environment, continuous assessment and support of the capacity of the office worker, monitoring of physiological and behavioural parameters, training support and new skills acquisition.Pilot in semi-controlled environment and Field trial.
Objectives:
TO CREATE A WORKER-CENTRIC AI SYSTEM FOR WORK ABILITY SUSTAINABILITYTO ACHIEVE UNOBTRUSIVE SENSING AND MODELLING OF THE WORKER STATETO IMPLEMENT A NOVEL SMARTWORK SERVICES SUITE FOR THE CONTEXT AND WORKER-AWARE ADAPTIVE WORK SUPPORTTO CO-CREATE AND EVALUATE THE SMARTWORK SYSTEM WITH THE ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT OF THE END USERS IN REAL WORLD SETTINGS, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO ETHICS, PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Shortcomings:
The social dynamic is not clear, having the worker in interaction with employer or carer, but not with other colleagues. the pilot results are not available, but some blog posts give some insight
