The notion of smart data has a key role in system interoperation and information integration. In order to enable information sharing and exchange authors have developed the Smart Home Ontology, which gives semantics for the data that are exchanged by the systems and devices in a smart home. In addition, they have exploited the principles of theLinked Data in order to integrate smart homes ' data with other external data sources
