3. Short description of product, tool, service or other | Science Comic on Social Robots. This science comic was created for the general public: both for young people and for adults – especially those who rarely had direct contact with social robots or artificial intelligence. Another target audience are persons working in the healthcare sector. Supporting and caring for elderly persons is considered one of the most important areas of application for social robots. The overall aim is to increase knowledge across all age groups, so the advantages and disadvantages of these new technologies can be discussed controversial, but knowledgeable. For this reason, the science comic is also well-suited as a teaching and learning material. It is a contribution to an informed discussion in the areas robotics, artificial intelligence, ethics and policy making. |
