On October 8th, 2022, NET4Age-Friendly Action Chair Carina Dantas presented “SHAFE Network and NET4Age-Friendly – advancing towards active and healthy living” in the panel dedicated to scientific research and advanced technology for a safe and independent living of older adults, during the 5th edition of the #STRESSCONGRESS22, organised by WG4 lead Luiza Spiru.
This is a 3-day national event with international participation dedicated to health professionals, PhD students and researchers interested in active and healthy ageing.
The Congress is organized annually under the High Patronage of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania, in collaboration with Ana Aslan International Foundation and promotes an interdisciplinary approach towards stress and healthy ageing.
High-level public authorities (the current Ministers of Health and of National Defence, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Family, the Presidential Advisor within the Department of Public Health, former President of Romania Emil Constantinescu, members of the European Parliament, Health Commission, the Rector and the Vice-Chancellor of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and the Deputy General Manager of the Administration of Hospitals in Bucharest attended the opening ceremony and the first round table.
The 2022 Congress connects over 60 top professionals from various specialties and areas of expertise, reputable names in Romanian medicine and top international specialists from Israel, France, Netherlands, USA, Italy, UK, Japan, Portugal and Spain as part of a complex agenda.
