18 October 2024 | events

NET4Age was invited to participate in the COST Connect event on the Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) on 9-10 October 2024. Only COST Actions working to achieve the SDG Goals of the United Nations were invited. On behalf of the Action, the vice-chair Willeke van Staalduinen participated in the event.

The event showcased the collaborative efforts of COST Actions currently involved and collaborating with different UN agencies and raised awareness about best practices in the presence of UNRIC and UNESCO representatives. Covering areas from illicit trade to mental health, migration, soil health, active ageing, ocean health, saline agriculture, and the future of plant based food the diversity and impact of COST Actions in supporting the SDGs is limitless.
