On 23 June 2022, Carina Dantas, the Action Chair, participated in the Seminar: Exploring opportunities in the ageing agenda in Europe, organised by the World Bank Group with the support of AGE Platform Europe, in hybrid format, representing NET4Age-Friendly.
Supporting healthy ageing requires strong public policies that consider the specific needs, concerns and barriers to access of older adults. However, ageing related policies and long-term care systems differ substantially amongst EU countries, and a consensus on how to organize care to address growing inequalities is missing. This seminar provided the opportunity to share diverse expertise and country-level experiences drawn from the scientific, policy and care provider communities.
