The NET4Age-Fiendly member Association for Women's Career Development in Hungary was invited to participate in the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) Ministerial Conference on Ageing held in Rome on June 15-17, 2022, in the persons of Andrea Ferenczi and Katalin Hajós, thanks to their recognition as international experts,.
On the occasion of the 4th review and appraisal of the implementation of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing and its Regional Implementation Strategy (MIPAA/RIS in the UNECE region, the first Joint Forum of Civil Society and Scientific Research was organized on June 15, 2022, as a part of the UNECE Ministerial Conference on Ageing held on 17-17 June, 2022 at the Ergife Hotel and Congress Center in Rome.
The 5th UNECE Ministerial Conference on Aging ended with the adoption of the 2022 Rome Ministerial Declaration in the spirit of three main objectives:
1) Promoting active and healthy ageing throughout life
2) Ensuring access to long-term care and support for carers and families
3) Mainstreaming ageing to advance a society for all ages
