Short-term scientific missions (STSMs)

Exchange visits between researchers involved in a COST Action, allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another COST Member state.

To explore the development of eHealth solutions in Croatia and The Netherlands, the age-friendly environments policies in Bilbao or Brussels, adapted housing in Warsaw and Germany. To learn big and tiny data handling and AI in Greece, North Macedonia or Portugal or to examine the benefits of public health in Norway and Serbia. The working of an ecosystem in Romania or Slovenia. This can be a topic of your short scientific mission on behalf of NET4Age-Friendly.

Short Term Scientific Missions (STSM) are institutional visits aimed at supporting individual mobility, fostering collaboration between individuals. STSMs shall have a minimum duration of 5 calendar days that includes travel. STSMs are financially supported by the Action with a fixed contribution of up to EUR 4000 in total.
