Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs)

Conference Grantts aimed at supporting early career investigators (ECI) and PhD students

ITC CONFERENCE GRANTS  are aimed at supporting early career investigators (ECI) PhD students and innovators from Participating  Inclusiveness Target Countries  (ITC )  to attend  international science and technology related conferences,  event or activity on the topic of the  NET4Age-Friendly  Action that are not organized by the COST Action.

ECI researchers (i.e. age 40 or below) are invited  to apply for an ITC conference grant,  provided that their work has been accepted for presentation at a conference aligned with  NET4Age-Friendly  related  topics  and areas of interest.  Overall travel, accommodation and meal expenses of the selected Grantee can be covered at a maximum of EUR 2,000 in total.

To conform to the strict deadlines for conference registration, NET4Age-Friendly  has opted   to have:

  • a continuously open call  for ITC grants  (until the allocated funds are fully spent)  to accommodate for different registration deadlines and  timings of the  online conference editions
  • the applications evaluated on a “first come, first served” basis, to ensure smooth process and avoid delays that could hamper conference participation

Please note, before applying, that the conference has to take a place within the current grant period,  i.e. until 31.10.2022,  to ensure reporting and refunding process is completed  by the end of October 2022.
